Thank you for your letter. But, firstly, you may now ask yourself one important question: Are you sure that you really love him? If the answer is "YES", no one can stop you to tell him your mind. Love is something between he and you. 
I know what you feel -- loving someone but he don't know. He may accept you or refuse you. However, at least you can get the answer, right? Anyway, be honest to yourself and him.
